Virtual Events… our new and current ‘normal’
Adjust, adapt, overcome…the world has changed, and REIN has quickly shifted to find the most effective ways to connect, communicate and share with the REIN Community. From conversation and learning programs, to the economic research and interaction with our members—moving from physical to virtual group meetings. Hundreds of you have joined us at our many webinars and online meetings over the last month-and-a-half, and the feedback has been enthusiastically positive.
As it is today, there are a seemingly never-ending number of questions to be answered related to the uncertainty of our economy, real estate investing, dealing with our tenants and new financing rules, just to name a few topics. The REIN team wants you to know that we are here for you. As real estate investors and business owners, we are here as your trusted source and resource for support and providing you the leadership and guidance to see you through these uncertain times.
As always, we want to share our knowledge and research with you, a valued member of the community. Researching and assessing the data and information that is rapidly changing, we are working harder than ever behind the scenes to keep on the leading edge so you have the most current information. #inittowinittogether
With all that being said, we are offering more webinars and resources to our member community, and you have access to all of it…the great news is the information is literally at your fingertips. We realize it can be a bit overwhelming at first glance so the following descriptions will clarify what the new segments are and what they offer you, as a REIN member.
MASTERCLASSES
Masterclasses are market driven and cover relevant topics of what is happening in our world today. Our classes right now are focused on topics that are relevant today and in the future. We cover a broad range of investing and business insights and guidance—from property management to mortgages to marketing and social media, to leadership and beyond.
If you want to stay on top and ahead of the game as a real estate entrepreneur, these Masterclasses are for you.
Masterclass segments are 60-90 minutes and are free for REIN members and included in your membership. However, registration is still required. Please check your email for your invite.
WORKING SESSIONS
Working Sessions are topic and journey specific and are often connected to a Masterclass, offering a roll up your sleeves hands-on workshop to follow a Masterclass based on the same topic—like a group study session. For example, one session will teach you how to manage your cashflow projections, given what’s going on in the country and world right now, and how to set your projections up into the future.
The design of the working sessions is dedicated to working on your real estate investing businesses. We will come together virtually to collaborate on a designated topic, bounce ideas off each other, celebrate our wins, and process any challenges that we’re working through.
In these sessions, you’ll walk through a system or template along with one of our REIN executive leaders, putting pen to paper, with access to excel spreadsheets and templates specific to different levels, depending on where you are in your journey.

REIN MEMBER MEETINGS
REIN Member Meetings are where we take a step back and recap what’s happened in the economy since the previous meeting. We look at what’s happening now and how it connects to events from the previous weeks. We bring in experts in various fields, people that are “in the trenches,” to offer in-depth conversations about what we’re facing. As always, we share economic research and a What’s Behind the Curtain presentation. These member meetings will continue on a monthly basis, only now we’ll be meeting virtually. The online platform we use allows for questions and conversation through chats throughout the meeting. There will be panel discussions and we have a team available to answer many of your questions in real time.
Another change to the member meetings is that we are combining cities—Ontario meetings will include Toronto and Ottawa, and BC and Alberta will be combined. We recognize that many people have properties across Canada and want to join in all the meetings, as we are continuing to determine the best timing of these meetings. Check the REIN calendar for times.
REIN Member Meetings are generally 2-3 hours and are free for REIN members and included in your membership. You will be pre-registered for your meetings – be on the lookout for an email with your link to join.
SUCCESS FORMULAS
Success Formula events are intensive workshops led by experts for specific specialty topics, such as raising capital, fix and flip, rent to own, and multi-family. These events are full day workshops, sometimes 2 or 3 days, and include forms, templates, case studies, role play, activities, engagement, and so much more.
Success Formulas are NOT included with your REIN membership, although REIN members get a discounted rate of 50% from the public rate.
PREVIEWS
Previews are snapshots, or quite literally, previews of what is coming. They are our sales events for members and the public to showcase the various programs and events that we offer.
Winning in Real Estate (WIRE) events are catered to non-members who are interested in real estate investing and don’t know where to start. This is a great place for members to send their friends and family that are wanting to start their investing journey.
Other preview events are focused on programs and events—like Raising Capital and Elite 52—and are for members and non-members alike. They provide detailed information on the program or event to give you a clearer picture of what they offer and for you to decide if it is a right fit for you.
REAL EXPERIENCES & FAST SUMMITS
Without being able to gather physically in groups, we are redesigning what our REAL Experiences and FAST Summits will look like. Stay tuned for more details.
